Thanks to William Dean of SoS Technical Solutions for collecting two older laptops today. These will be safely wiped and then be distributed through to local schools to help pupils without connections to their online lessons.
This was strangely emotional for me as I said goodbye to my old Sony VAIO, the laptop I started Kent Recruitment on almost ten years ago. Having done sterling service, it had the hard drive upgraded and had been used by my daughter for a year, before finding its way back to my office and just sitting there. This scheme is a great bit of recycling that will help children not to miss out on their lessons. Vital for everyone. I hope it makes a big difference to someone.
