Supporting you in your job search
I understand that searching for a new job can be difficult. Sometimes, it’s a bit scary or unfamiliar, and sometimes, it just feels like you are stepping into the unknown and need some support.
My name is Tony, and I have been in recruitment for over twenty years. I am here to support you.
That does not mean I know everything; things change every year, and the last couple of years have been even more so. But over the previous ten years, I have worked for myself, and I appreciate what it is like to step into “the unknown.”
As a Recruitment Consultant, my job is to help a client find the right person for their job vacancy. But it is much more than that! I am there to support you in your job search, and this includes
- Understanding if you are going to make a job change, what you hope for in that new job
- Reviewing your CV and, if necessary, tidying it up before it goes to an employer. (I have plenty of experience in doing this. And I will happily send you a copy of the improved version.)
- Telling you all I can about the job and the employer
- Presenting you to the employer so that they are interested in meeting you
- Setting up and preparing you for your interview
I will be frank; some Recruitment Consultants have a reputation for being a bit pushy. Some work in highly targeted and pressurised roles, which can lead them to push candidates.
I assure you that I have your and the employer's best interests at heart. The job has to be right for you, and you have to be right for it. You will not be under any pressure to choose otherwise.
When you apply for a job vacancy, you will get a personal reply, and I will do my best to support you throughout your job move.
If you have concerns about how things work, email or call me, and I will help.
